When selecting the tomato seeds you want to buy you must first decide:

What type of tomato plant do you want? A cordon or a bush-type plant? Also known as “indeterminate”, cordon tomato plants are tall growing. They need support and must be pinched out. Bush tomato – or “determinate” – plants are easier to grow. They need no pinching out and no support, but they may be less productive and often not quite so good tasting.

What sized tomato fruit do you want? Tomato fruit vary enormously in size, shape, colour and even texture and juiciness. They also have very different flavours, some taste wonderful, others are pretty awful! So choose  which variety to grow carefully!
