Approximate heat level: 263,000 SHU
A very hot and extremely aromatic habanero chilli supposedly from central Africa. Though not a superhot, the fruit have enough heat to satisfy even the most die-hard chilli head. But what really grabbed our attention was the wonderful fragrance: strong, distinctive and more-ish. The fruit are cone-shaped, rough-skinned and deeply-grooved from top to bottom. They measure 25 x 55mm and turn from green to bright yellow/orange as they mature. The fruit grow on medium size plants which produce more than adequate yields.
Approx. number of seeds per pack: 15 seeds
Note on the naming: Because of uncertainty with its provenance, we used to call this variety Fragrance. After consulting some of our colleagues, we are now sure it is, in fact, Fatali, a popular variety that has been around for quite awhile. Its name, therefore, has been changed to reflect our change of mind.
