Mini Seed Tray With Clear Lid

A rigid, quarter-sized seed tray with a high dome lid, that gives sown seeds and emerged seedlings a warm, protected environment.

The seed trays are “quarter-sized”, that is they are a quarter the size of a “standard tray”. They are made of recycled plastic through an injected moulded process and are extremely robust – the manufactures say they last ten years, we reckon they will last a life-time unless you run over one with a car. The trays have a two tier base with drainage holes at both levels – a system that “prevents seedlings from becoming water logged and enables them to be used efficiently on capillary matting”.

The lids are injection moulded, made in a crystal clear, shatter resistant material, and feature a ‘dial’ ventilator to control the humidity and optimise growing conditions.They are high domed which gives extra space for seedlings to grow.

This combination of seed tray and lid make a perfect combination for sowing seeds indoors in a protected, warm environment. The mini size is useful for sowing small amounts of seed, and for fitting on a windowsill.
