Mini Seed Tray

Description

A rigid, quarter-sized seed tray, ideal for the home gardener.

These seed trays are made of recycled plastic through an injected moulded process (see below), and are extremely robust – the manufactures say they last ten years, we reckon they will last a life-time unless you run over one with a car.

The trays have a two tier base with drainage holes at both levels – a system that the manufactures say “prevents seedlings from becoming water logged and enables them to be used efficiently on water matting or capillary matting”.

The trays are a quarter the size of a “standard tray”. This means they are the perfect size for sowing small amounts of seed.

“Injection moulded items are super strong and durable, made from quality recycles plastics. This seed tray has thicker wall sections, which offer extra rigidity. They features a multiple 2 tier drainage cell system and have a generous planting depth to aid healthy plant development. The trays are easy to clean and can even be put in a dishwasher. Although injection moulded trays are generally more expensive than vacuum formed equivalents, they will easily last for 10 years or more.”
