Crystal Ball produces round, red-skinned roots with a white, firm-textured flesh. They are quick to grow and should be ready to harvest 20 to 30 days after sowing.
Sow outdoors from spring to early autumn at 10 to 14 day intervals for a continuous supply of roots. To extend the harvest period, sow in an unheated greenhouse or tunnel either early autumn or late winter/early spring. Harvest when the roots are about 2.5cm in diameter.
