Farmers’ Long is a distinctive aubergine that produces long, slim fruit whose skin ranges from dark pink to purple, and can be harvested when they reach 20 to 25cm or more in length. The plants, which have a high yield potential, are upright shrubs that are quite compact for an aubergine.
The variety produces well in 10 litre pots, though the fruit load can make them somewhat top heavy and prone to falling over.
