Regency is a suberb summer cabbage and is a top choice for cropping through the summer and into the autumn, It is a ‘sweet heart’ type of cabbage characterised by firm, pointed heads. Plants are notably bolt resistant and stand well in the garden, consequently they have a long harvest period throughout the summer and autumn before heads start to bolt.
We have had excellent results from a mid-June sowing and managed to grow heads that weighed between 1.5 and 2.0 kg.
