Resistafly

£2.50

If your carrot crops often suffer from carrot root fly damage then this is a variety to try.

Description

Daucus carota

Hybrid. Resistafly (aka Tozresis) is a carrot with a reputation – that is a reputation for being resistant to carrot root fly, and independent trials over the years have shown this to be true. In addition, it is a good tasting variety – the Royal Horticultural Society gave it an Award of Garden Merit, describing the roots as ‘having a nice colour and flavour’. The cylindrical roots are long with a blunt end.

Resistafly is not a top yielding variety, but if you are fed up trying to grow carrots and end up producing roots that are inedible from carrot root fly damage, then this is an excellent choice.
