Description
Capsicum chinense
An aromatic, very hot habanero with plump, oval fruit measuring about 2.5 x 6.5cm. The fruit ripen from green to bright red and are abundantly produced on plants that crop quite early. If you are fond of hot chillies that have a nice smell, then Paper Lantern is certainly one to try.
Grow the bushy, medium tall plants either in the ground or pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size. The branches can become laden with fruit, and the plants must be given support so that they don’t fall over.
