Description
Capsicum chinense
This appropriately-named habanero grows into plants laden with fruit that look like miniature pumpkins. Measuring a mere 2cm in diameter, the very hot fruit mature from dark green to bright orange, and have a characteristically strong aroma when ripe.
The plants have a somewhat sprawling growth habit, and can be grown unsupported in the ground, growbags and large pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size.
