Description

Capsicum chinense

Selected from the Ghanaian landrace kpakpo shito, this odd habanero has fruit that are vaguely shaped like a raindrop. The aromatic fruit are very hot and small, measuring a mere 1.5 x 2cm. Traditionally used young and green, they ripen to red if left on the plant.

The bushy plants are well-suited to growing in pots 1 to 7.5 litres in size. The bigger the pots, the bigger the plants, though the plants will need some support regardless of their size.

Sea Spring Seeds sells also two other versions of  kpakpo shitoCheeky and Pettie Belle.
