Ohnivec

£2.00

An early and productive vegetable chilli with mildly hot, fleshy fruit.

Heat level: mild

Description

Capsicum annuum

A fleshy, vegetable-type chilli from Eastern Europe, Ohnivec is both early and prolific. The mildly hot, elongated fruit average about 3 x 18.5cm in size, and ripen from yellow, to orange and finally red. They can be used at any stage of development, and reach their full potential whether fried, grilled or added to soups and stews.

The medium tall plants are perfectly manageable when grown in the ground or pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size. Considering all the fruit they produce, some support is needed to keep them upright.

Heat level: mild (not tested by Sea Spring Seeds)

Approximate number of seed per pack: 20
