Description
Capsicum chinense
A lovely and ferocious habanero producing flavourful, thin-fleshed fruit that are extremely hot. Fruit average about 2 x 5cm in size and change from a subdued light green to a soft pastel orange as they mature.
The plants are medium-sized bushes about 55cm tall and 75cm wide. For the best yields, grow the either in the ground or in large containers at least 7.5 to 10 litres in volume. As they get bigger, be sure to support them so that they don’t fall over.
