A decorative chilli that is as good in the kitchen as it is on a windowsill as an ornamental house plant.
Heat level: approx 62,000 SHU
A dual purpose chilli that is perfect as a decorative house plant and a useful cooking chilli. Purple-tinged leaves complement the purple flowers that develop into small, purple cone-shaped fruit (12mm diameter). These then turn yellow, orange and finally red.
The plants do well in pots; generally, the larger the pot the larger the plant size. We find they do well in 1 litre pots, but are more impressive plants in 3 litre pots, reaching about 30cm tall. The fruit are fairly late to mature, but the plants are productive and extremely attractive at all stages.
Heat level: approx. 62,000 SHU (hot)
