Description
Capsicum annuum
A reliable cayenne chilli with plenty of heat. The slender, pointed fruit measure about 7 to 8cm long. They mature from green to red and are very hot when red. Good for using fresh, the thin-fleshed fruit are also easy to dry.
The bushy plants are medium tall with floppy branches. Grow them in pots 5 to 10 litres in size, giving support to both the main stems and branches.
We also sell the seed of two similar varieties that mature to different colours: Kilian (orange) and Kristian (yellow).
