Description

Capsicum annuum

Pencil cayenne chilli
Pencil Cayenne produces high yields in surprisingly small pots.

Bred by Sea Spring Seeds, Pencil Cayenne is distinguished by pointed, elongated cayenne chillies that measure about 12 x 90mm, and hang down from the branches. The fruit ripen from yellowish green to red, at which point they are very hot.

The plants grow upright and do well in 7.5 to 10 litre pots, though we’ve had good results with pots as small as 1 litre.

Heat level: very hot (approx. 52,000 SHU)
