Description
Capsicum annuum
A vegetable type chilli that is both prolific and early. The large, cone-shaped fruit measure 7 x 13.5cm and mature from green to red. They are not overly hot and have a thick and juicy flesh similar to that of sweet peppers.
The medium tall, bushy plants have weak, sprawling branches that droop under the weight of the fruit. Grow the plants in the ground or large pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size, and support the branches so that they don’t snap off.
