An early and productive Eastern European chilli with thick-fleshed, cone-shaped fruit.
Heat level: mild
Hybrid. An early and productive vegetable chilli from Eastern Europe, where pepper breeding is a specialty. The large, cone-shaped fruit change from light green to red as they mature. The flesh is thick, matching that of a sweet bell pepper, and are delicious both stuffed and roasted or simply fried with a bit of olive oil.
The tallish plants are easily managed in either the ground or large pots (at least 7.5 litres in volume).
