Description
Capsicum annuum
An early and dependable chilli producing medium hot fruit about 13 to 14cm long. The fruit ripen from yellow to orange and finally red, and can be used at any stage of maturity. They have a fairly thick flesh and are real multi-taskers in the kitchen – try them fried, grilled, stuffed or eaten raw in salads.
The medium tall, bushy plants yield well in containers 7.5 to 10 litres in size. Though easy to grow, they need support to stay up right.
