Pot marigolds, also know as Calendula, are hardy annuals that produce orange, cream or yellow daisy-like flowers. The flowers have been used medicinally and are useful in the kitchen as a flavouring and extra colour in breads, soups and particularly in salads. They are fast growing and will bloom from early summer right through to the first frost – provided the dead and dying flowers are regularly removed
Calypso Orange is a vigorous variety producing bold, fully orange flowers.
