Coriander var. Santos
£2.00
A variety that is full of flavour and seems to be more bolt-resistant than other coriander varieties.
Description
Coriandrum sativum
A strong flavoured coriander variety that based on our trials seems to be more bolt-resistant than other varieties.
Indispensable in Asian, Chinese and Mexican cooking, coriander is a short-lived annual. Seeds should be sown ‘a little and often’ outdoors from mid-spring to late summer for a continuous harvest. In milder parts of the UK it can also be over-wintered in a tunnel or greenhouse.
Coriander must be grown in full sun, and should always be well watered. The leaves can be harvested at any stage under a cut-and-grow-again system.
Approx. number of seeds per pack: 140
