Bandit
£2.50
A trusted variety that produces decent yields of good quality leeks ready for harvest mid winter to spring.
Description
Allium Porrum
Though over 20 years old, this is still a trusted variety that produces decent yields of good quality leeks.
The medium length shanks (that’s the white part) are topped by dark, bluish-green leaves. The plants are healthy and slow to bolt, and show good rust resistance.
With a harvest period from mid-winter to spring, Bandit is the ideal partner for Jolant, which can be harvested from autumn to early winter.
