A suberb, high yielding mid-season leek that produces erect, sturdy shanks topped with dark green leaves. The recommended harvest period is from October to February. From March the appearance of the plants begins to deteriorate, though the eating quality remains satisfactory until the plants bolt.
Plants display some resistance to rust.
