Lettony displays good bolt resistance and is said to have resistance to downy mildew.
Seed of this variety can be broadcast close together and the young plants harvested as baby leaves in a cut-and-come-again system. Alternatively, plants can be grown to full size at spaced 30cm apart for a one-time harvest.
