Brassica rapa Pekinensis Group

Hybrid. A bolt-resistant Chinese cabbage that if allowed to grow to full size will produce nicely-blanched heads that are crunchy and delicious. Leaves can also be harvested when young for cut-and-come-again crops.

Sow from June to August for outside crops, and in September or October for overwintering in tunnels and greenhouses. Start the seeds in modular trays, transplanting the seedlings to leave about 30cm between them each way, or closer if harvesting individual leaves.
