Shelling pea / semi-dwarf plants
Description
Pisum sativum
Kelvedon Wonder is a semi-dwarf, early-maturing shelling variety that produces tender, deliciously sweet peas snuggled in long, uniform pods. The pods are produced on short to medium length vines (ours reached 55cm in large pots) that can be grown without support – though a few pea sticks placed judiciously along the row will lift the vines off the ground.
Being quick to mature Kelvedon Wonder is ideally suited to successional sowings; sow seed every 2 or 3 weeks from March to June. It can be grown in the ground, but is also a good pea for container growing.
Kelvedon Wonder is tolerant to mildew.
Approx. number of seeds per pack: 250
