Description
Capsicum annuum
A very sweet, almost seedless snack pepper that is so good it can be eaten straight off the plant. The fruit are shaped like elongated cones and measure about 4 x 6.5cm. They have a thick, juicy flesh and turn from green to bright orange as they ripen. Better eaten when fully ripe, they are welcome additions to lunch boxes, salads and crudité platters.
Grow the short compact plants in pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size. Be sure to give them some support, especially when the fruit get bigger.
