An extraordinary sweet pepper that produces round fruit with an exceptionally thick flesh.
Description
Capsicum annuum
An unconventional sweet pepper that hails from Eastern Europe. Its fruit are round like a tomato, measure a respectable 5cm in diameter and mature from creamy white to deep red. The flesh is an astonishing 8mm thick – one of the thickest we’ve ever encountered. Once the seeds and central core are removed, the fruit are superb stuffed and baked. Alternatively, they can be fried or roasted, or ; used raw in salads and salsas.
The unnaturally short plants (they are a mere 40cm tall) are prolific and can be grown in the ground or pots, 7.5 to 10 litres in size. Dispite their size some support is necessary to keep them from falling over.
Approximate number of seed per pack: 15
