An unusual sweet pepper distinguished by fruit with a lilac purple skin.
Description
Capsicum annuum
Hybrid. An early maturing sweet pepper that produces blocky, thick-fleshed fruit measuring about 8 x 10 to 12cm. Valuable for adding colour to salads, the young fruit have a beautiful lilac skin surrounding a delicate ivory flesh. As they ripen, the colour changes to neon shades of yellow and orange before finally turning a deep red.
The medium-sized plants can be grown in the ground as well as in pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size. They will need support to say upright, especially as the weight of the developing fruit increases.
