A cooking tomato distinguished by plump, elongated fruit with thick flesh that matures to a yellow-tinged green. The fruit are pretty good eaten fresh, when they are a bit sweet and quite juicy. They are even better cooked, producing a sauce that looks like green pea soup and tastes deliciously fruity.
The determinate plants sprawl into large bushes over a meter wide. Though fruit ripen later than other varieties, good yields can be harvested from plants grown undercover in large pots or the ground.
