Hybrid. Modus is a vigorous tomato yielding good numbers of small, plum-shaped fruit that are shiny red and measure about 22 x 40mm. The taste is sweet, and the texture is firm yet juicy. When everything is totted up – taste, texture and looks – Modus is a generous variety that gives a lot.
Indeterminate (cordon) growth habit.

Note: The much loved Rosada mini-plum tomato variety was discontinued some years ago and Modus was developed as its replacement. We do not claim that Modus is the same as Rosada, although it is an excellent variety in its own right.
