Description
Solanum lycopersicum
A blight resistant, determinate tomato that can be grown outdoors. Large, spreading plants do well in the ground and require no pinching or training. They produce tasty, plum-shaped fruit that measure about 30mm in diameter. The attractive fruit have a tender skin and a firm, juicy flesh making them a real treat.
In our 2024 trial, the fruit began to ripen during the first week in August. All-in-all, Romello is well worth trying by gardeners who have no greenhouse or tunnel.
Determinate (bush) growth habit.
